A wise little green man once said, “Do or do not. There is no try.”
I find this to be more true the further I go and the deeper I delve into my writing.
I am committed. There is no turning back now.
A couple people told me a month ago that if I don’t find a certain degree of success within the year that I should re-evaluate my decision and consider going back into public relations, into the good ol’ 9-5. The more and more I think about it, I realize that my return to that field, and to that lifestyle, is next to impossible now.
For that would mean that I had given up on my dreams.
And that I will not do.

Always loved that scene, and the focus that Yoda intended for his student. In the business I am in, it is rare to see commitments made without volumes of caveats for failure….which is disappointing, to say the least! Keep living the dream, and keep your commitment to it. I admire your efforts!

Thanks, Rich! It’s a hard task, to get away from those caveats. But it’s strangely liberating when you can!
Hope all is well! Tell the girls I said hi!
